About Us
Mzansi Workers Union was formed on 2023 October at Rustenburg 16# Impala Platinum Mine by Sandi Zondani and group of Miners, after they have experienced an oppression of the miners. Union was established on 29 February 2024.
Who We Are
Mzansi Workers Union is Union that provides healthy & safety working environment for their members. The union that bring back the dignity & respect of workers through the leadership which always avail themselves to their members when they are needed. Union subscription is 1 percent of your salary but not greater than R100 (HUNDRED RAND)
Values
Our values is to promote and protect the interests of all members in issues such as working conditions, wages especially through negotiations with employers following all labour laws.
Value Proposition
Our value proposition is to assist our members and their dependent’s by providing learnerships from seta.
Audience
Our members are from motor industry, security, farming, steel and mining.
Mission
To promote a democratic labour environment for our members and the society at large within the confines of the law and the constitution of the Republic of South Africa, to unite and organise workers and/or members in all the various industries or sectors through democratically elected structures which are mandated by members in the interest of protecting themselves against any unfair and illegal practices.
